VIM VIGOR x ANN ARBOR
VIM VIGOR DANCE COMPANY, a world-renowned nonprofit organization is dedicated to creating dance theater works, providing immersive training opportunities and research space for artists and creators from around the world.
In 2025, we are touring with commissions to London, Barcelona, Berlin, Limerick and Zagreb. We are thrilled to continue to build our international community, while also developing a midwest hub for dance theater and the performing arts in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Our 2025 Summer Intensive applications are now live. Join us for a full week of deep exploration in floorwork and contemporary movement, partnering, acting, somatic recovery, and dance theater composition methodologies.

MICHIGAN MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE PROJECTS
Michigan Movement Performance Projects will operate as a professional company. Upending the training model of high costs and short time-frames, this rigorous program provides gifted dancers seven weeks of immersive exchange with VIM VIGOR and MARCAT Dance from Spain for physical practice training, professional creation processes and performance opportunities, compositional mentorship and showings, auditions and interactions with active Midwest companies in the US, and additional networking opportunities. b12 FESTIVAL
in BERLIN
VIM VIGOR will lead a study abroad program for the University of Michigan, bringing talented artists from the BFA program to train and research at cutting edge festival b12 in Berlin. VIM VIGOR co-choreographers will lead two workshops while in Germany. The first a highly physical exploration of floorwork and partnering and the second a deep dive into acting and theater research. VIM VIGOR's SUMMER INTENSIVE provides immersive training and research in contemporary dance-theater in the US. The program is anchored in VIM VIGOR's anatomically sound approach to floorwork in combination with our pioneering dance theater methodology, inviting participants to dive into adaptive and reactive physical pathways, to explore the physical and emotional lines of complex partner work, and to engage narrative devices as an additional resource for improvisational and compositional approaches.
Brand new work developed by VIM VIGOR co-choreographers for the exceptional artists at the Univerisity of Limerick, Irish World Academy of Music and Dance. Additionally the company will perform heralded PUNCHLINE in downtown Limerick.
